Michael Jackson Family Saga

In case you've been living under a rock these past few weeks (and given the world's condition, why wouldn't you?) Mama (Katherine) Jackson went missing supposedly under doctor's orders to get away from the Jackson family train wreck. Obviously, Mama Jackson didn't tell the kids. Paris tweeted about. Janet got in Paris' grill. Then there's info about the will which only includes the kids and his mama. The siblings think the will is fraudulent and conspiracies are swirling around within the family. I don't know if it's a cousin or a brother who is trying to gain custody of the kids citing Mama Jackson is just too old. Everybody thinks its really a money grab. Everybody thinks they are all after Mike's money.

What do I think? (as if you care)

I don't think the will is fraudulent. After Katharine, the kids were to go to Diana Ross as custodial guardian. If Michael thought so highly of his siblings why didn't he leave the kids with one of them? He has like 7 of them. So for me its very believeable that he left them out of the will.  He held his mother in very high regard and she may have been/still is the glue that holds that family together.

I'm with Janet. Paris shouldn't have put the family business on Front Street, aka Twitter.

Why didn't Kat tell her grandbabies where she was going? Why didn't the aunts or uncles tell the kids where she was? That doesn't make any of them look good in the parental responsibility department.

As much as I want to respect Mrs. Jackson, she birthed all this craziness. Why didn't she stop her husband from being so abusive to Michael and the rest of the siblings? Why didn't she encourage the siblings to be more civil with one another? Why didn't she speak up when Jermaine wanted to build an amusement park through slave dungeons in Africa? Why didn't she speak up when Michael was abusing plastic surgery, drugs, and having questionable contact with young children? Where's the strong Black matriarch stereotype that keeps everyone in line? She is not innocent in her family's chaos. She has been complicit in her family's demise and reminds me of so many older Black women. You want to respect them because of their age, grace, and wisdom but then you got to look at their handiwork (their children) and think...man, what happened?

Micahel may have thought he was better than his siblings but really, Mike? Who are you to think someone else is not good with kids? His family is dysfunctional and thus, sorry to say, he fits right in.

As much a Michael Jackson said he loved Black people, wasn't ashamed of his blackness, and stated that most musical art forms come from Black people, the proof is in the pudding. All his wealth is being left to his children, aka white people. He and his siblings loved the conspiracy theories about "they" were trying to kill/maim/humiliate him. Obviously he didn't think poorly of "them" to have three of their children even though Black people have always been more faithful to MJ even when he was going through the child molestation trials. He couldn't find average looking Black women to adopt their children and leave them well paid? SMH. However, why am I surprised? If anybody wanted to question Michael Jackson's racial makeup, this should've closed everybody's mouth because this (having a bipolar love/hate relationship with "them") is Black man behavior.

Here's more about the saga if you want it.
