In NYC, two men got into an altercation and one pushed the other on to the tracks. People took pictures just before the train hit him AND AFTER when they pulled his body off the tracks and tried to recuscitate him. No one moved to try and protect him.
This reminds me of the time in NYC when a man was dying on the sidewalk and NOBODY stopped to help him.
Or even the latest racial profiling violence against a black youth, Jordan Russell Davis, at a gas station and the man drove and spent the night at a local hotel. NOBODY AT THE GAS STATION THOUGHT TO STOP HIM OR EVEN HOLD HIM UNTIL THE POLICE GOT THERE. How do you kill someone among witnesses and a whole day rolls around before the authorities are notified and show up to get you?
Or the time I was in the parking lot of a Walgreens throwing up and rolling on the ground in pain from a migraine and NOT A SOUL came over to help.
Or the time that woman died in the waiting room OF A HOSPITAL.
Or the time(s) I was in the EMERGENCY ROOM wracked with pain and before anyone came over to help, they were asking 100 questions and drilling me for my insurance card. I wasn't even dressed before they came in my room asking for my co-pay. The EMTs STARED AT ME OBVIOUSLY WRACKED WITH PAIN but there was ABSOLUTELY NO sense of urgency to help me.
THIS IS WHY PEOPLE CARRY GUNS. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE ARE SO COLD. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE DO NOTHING TO HELP OTHERS BECAUSE LORD KNOWS THE CONCERNS won't BE RETURNED.
