Do you want to invest but don't know where to start? You are not alone. It's time Black people make their money grow. I found a great piece at Black Enterprise about using a Financial Advisor. Now although I am for black advancemnent, it's safe to say that far too many of us don't know that much about investing. So don't get weird about going to a financial advisor who is not black. Just be confident and honest. Don't feel like you have to perform in order to avoid casting yourself as stereotypical. If we can be honest, the fact that you're taking this step is proof enough that you are breaking the mold. You know what you want out of life and you know investing will help make that happen. So until you know more about stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc. to trade on your own, you're going to have to (smartly) lean on the experience of professionals. Check it out here.
