Natural Hair Rant Alert: I HATE THESE DAMN TWISTS

Well, the title says it all. I have been trying to be trooper. I have been trying to rock some two-strand twists until wash day- this weekend-because it is a very low maintenance style. However...I have come to the conclusion that it is not right for me. I can't do it any longer. See, as much as I want my hair to grow, I want to look like a attractive lady more and these twists ain't doing it for me. Even though, through length checks, my hair is indeed growing, when I have it in twists, you don't see that.  My face is full and I need more hair to help me out. That's what it's there for right? So I think I'll resort to braid out puffs. With that style, I can see the growth and I can see how the different  products react to my hair better than in twists. I think enjoying my hair will also help with hair growth (and attractability). Hating a style is counterproductive.
