Did You Know That The Root Word for Materialism is Mater (Mother, Woman)?

If you think about it, the economy needs women. Have you ever been to a single man's house? It is bare. His teeny, tiny closet is only half full. He may have one real plate, cup, or set of cutlery. He is content to live off of pizza and chinese takeout. The only channel he needs is CNN (maybe) and the Sports Network and of course some illicit material. Men are very minimal creatures. He may spend his money on an expensive watch or car, maybe....However, women....not so. Women need curtains, multiple sheet sets, mutliple comforters, plenty of closet space, an assortment of dishes, and will pine for a trip to the theater. Let's face it, women are spenders. It may be a man's world but women make capitalism work. Some men will only get their car washed when they're going on a date. They will only get a haircut if they're going on a date. They will only go to the movies or a nice restaurant unless they are going on a date. So the economy is built on women spending and men spending on women. Oooh if women knew their power. Consider your local department store. 95% of the space is geared toward female consumption. And now that women are the ones keeping this fragile economy together and are marrying and having children a bit later than their forebearers, watch out.
