I am a HUGE fan of Target for a number of reasons; mainly because their prices are neck and neck with Wal-Mart without the Wal-mart lines and Wal-Mart
multi-ethnic foolishness. I recently found another reason to love Target (pronounced: tar' zhay)....kidding.
I recently took a gander at Target's pictures throughout the local Target near me and found them to be very diverse (read: many black faces). I counted about 20-30 faces of African descent displayed throughout the store nearest me and also at the one a little further out. Below are just a few of the great pics I found decorating my local Target. It's good to know a company that
knows who's paying the bills values diversity. People thought I was crazy snapping these pictures but...oh well.
Many of the faces in the cosmetics department were Black which is where I started to really take notice of the number of pictures of Black people of all hues in the store. Black women must be investing more in cosmetics and we know we DRIVE the hair care industry. Here's more pictures:
