7 reasons Why Blacks Should Consider Another Party Besides the Democrats

Everybody assumes that Black people are Democrats by default. Democrats know that if the Black vote falls below 80%, they will not win. Democrats know our Achilles Heel is racism and so they paint Republicans (or anybody who is not a Democrat) as angry racists as often as they can. I know. Republicans are far from warm concerning African-Americans. However, the Dems paint others as one thing without providing a tangible feasible plan for how they will make things any better. Just because one says they're better than another doesn't mean they're good.  Black people need to be more strategic about who they align with politically and it is safe to say, siding with the Democrats has not been working. Here's why I think Blacks need to look to other parties:

1. Democrats think with their heart. This is noble but it is expensive. We, Americans of all colors, cannot afford such logic. We need to bring the budget back in line and that includes everyone trimming the fat.
Fairness has nothing to do with life. What I should have and what I have in actuality do not always match up with the resources I have. Thus, with the resources I have, I need to find a way to make it work. Democrats operate on should have budgets (that we all pay for).

2. They do not believe in hard-work. Everybody deserves a house, food, clothing, etc whether they work for it or not. Working towards one's goals, earning your keep, and preparing a wealthier space for your children is arrogant and worthy of shame.

3. They do not believe in consequences. They make excuses for criminals. Oh, he had a bad life. Oh, they just need someone to talk to. Oh, the death penalty is inhumane. However, ex-cons do not come back to their neighborhoods with the same 'bad habits'. 'Most people on death row are Black'. I don't give an rat's ass what the people on death row look like. If they did the crime, they need to be put down. Crime needs to punished. If they found Osama bin Laden tomorrow, he would be given more respect than the average moderate Democratic Senator who thinks Obama is spending too much (because he is). Civility for the uncivilized is wasted energy. This is also true in how they have encouraged people not to discipline or push their children and are now scratching their heads wondering why the education system is in toilet. Oh, I'm sorry they don't scratch their head. They BLAME it on the Government (nanny state) for not funding ...blah, blah, blah even though poor children from third world countries come here all the time a outperform American children without breaking a sweat.

4. They do not think Black people can make rational decisions. This is why welfare is out of control. We all know or have heard stories of people on welfare who are eating well, paying $50 in rent, with free healthcare.  These are able bodied men and women who chose to make decisions and we all (middle class people) have to pay for their mistakes. Decisions are personal. The cost of such decisions should be public according to the Dems. There is a paternal need among a certain segment of the Dem population that thinks they're helping but they are actually hurting by enabling irresponsible behavior. This effects hard-working, tax-paying black people just like every other group of people. I once sat in on a conference about family and the issue of abortion was raised. One of the speakers talked about reducing abortions through self-control and responsibility. Audience members, grown educated white people said that responsibility was a race and class issue. What in the world? Responsibility is for human beings of every socioeconomic level.

5. Abortion has caused our population growth to stall. I still do not believe black people are 12% of the population. The Census in 2000 was undercounted  in Chicago, Philadelphia, and possibly more by millions. However, our growth rate is steady but it is not growing. All my pro-choicers need to do a little research on the origins of Planned Parenthood. I know abortion is a neccessary evil but loss of life is loss of life anyway you try and dress it up. Population is power. The reason why corporations are wooing Hispanics and investing in China is because they have people power. This country rode into its golden years on a baby boom. People power is important. Abortion has stunted it.

6. The Dems hate the parts of Christianity that does not preach free love, harmony, and peace. Issues like sexuality, morality, Creation, punishment, and traditional  family, the Dems are vehement that those things need to be left in the closet.  Upon these issues Dems become very intolerant. Most thinking Blacks are Christians and are distraught about how immoral our society has gotten. Most liberals will praise gay marriage and denigrate heterosexual marriage in the same breath. For many of the Dems, their bearings are off kilter with established norms.  Religious tolerance only applies to non-Christians and unChristian principles.

8. What's good for the gander is not good for the goose.  Single motherhood is okay for black women, yet there were no baby mamas in the Kennedy family. Nobody's on welfare in the Kerry family. If something were to happen to Pelosi's children, she wouldn't care what elementary school the criminal went to. She would want the full extent of the law to be in full effect. If what's good for the gander is not good for the goose, its time for the gander to reevaluate and move the eff on.

9. We've been with them for 50 years and what have we gotten? Civil Rights, broken homes, dangerous neighborhoods, arrogant ex-cons, overdependence on The Man for economic increase, and a morally bankrupt overall society.
10.  We are paying too much in taxes, all to fund the wrong things (welfare, programs to help people grow up, programs to babysit keep kids active, free housing that people still find a way to eff up), teachers who don't care, and unions who are spoiled.

I know all of our issues are not to be blamed on the Dems but you can't pay me to believe they (i.e. liberals) didn't help. Even if they have nothing to do with our issues, their thinking processes are not sound and are very much contrary to how most thinking Blacks operate. I truly believe the only reason Blacks vote for Dems is because the Repubs have been branded as racist. Nothing more, nothing less.  Most Americans want lower taxes. Most Americans want smaller (cheaper) Government. Most Americans want a restoration of core morals. Dems do not. Don't like the repubs, get with the independent party of your state. Its time for us independents to make a solid party which takes the best of what the Dems have to offer, the best of what the Repubs have to offer, bring some new ideas, and start running some things. Nonetheless, Black people have to stop this feigned loyalty to this party.

Blacks are starting to get the message but more work needs to be done. There is nothing wrong with voting as a block. Unity centralizes power. However, if the voting bloc is voting against its own socioeconomic interests, it MUST change course.

I think I'm turning purple.
