The Other Side of the Ted Williams Story- A Testament in Courage

By now, everybody knows Ted Williams, the homeless man with the Golden Voice who got a job as a DJ just by someone posting a clip of him on YouTube.

What a lot of people do not know is that he was once married. His ex-wife raised her 4 biological kids by herself and took in the son he had with another woman, all while being partially blind. See, we demonize single mothers without knowing the full story. When events happen like this in someone's life, a person's character is on full display.

Check out her story here. When he reunited with 2 of his 9 kids, he says it was after the birth of his son that he started spiraling downward quickly and he didn't want his kids to see him like that way but...he went on to have several more children. Check out the bullshit here.

I'm beginning to think that every homeless man has a story (a full family or several that he abandoned) just like this. Let me not generalize but let's salute Ms. Kirtley. Her kids (the two who met him, 30 and 22) seem very balanced.
