| The Great Equalizer |
Low-value Blacks can cry betrayal, but betrayal started when they refused to try their best like most Blacks continue to do. People who think like this (and enable this) must be shown no mercy. Start a campaign with your friends, co-workers, churches, etc to write letters to your state houses and representatives in Congress to vehemently work toward welfare reform. You can find e-mail addresses and physical addresses at your local state and national government websites.Welfare is key to getting the dead weight off our backs. It’s been 40 years. We cannot afford to have another generation die in the wilderness due to government funded excuses. You or your group can take one organization or one representative and write a central letter or mass e-mail. Be consistent in your activism and feel free to send letters/e-mails on a monthly basis or go to hearings. You can start a petition online or off-line. I will be writing the Congressional Black Caucus because they are the most powerful blacks we have. The President (any President) is a powerful change agent in his own right but the Congress is no laughing matter either. They are married to each other.
I think some black politicians are in the twilight zone. They see the abuse and the generational damage of the entitlement programs and advocate for more of it. What planet are they living on? Black and poor have become synonyms in America. That ought not to be so.
NO ONE KNOWS THE DAMAGE SUBSIDIES CAUSE LIKE BLACKS. THUS, THINKING BLACKS MUST BE THE BULLDOGS TO REFORM IT.
Here are just a few ways I think welfare can be reformed:
-No one can get subsidies until they are 18 years old. If you get pregnant (or get someone pregnant) younger than 18, you are at the mercy of your parents.
- Five-eight years is the lifetime maximum amount of years to receive subsidies. You can get welfare for 5 years in your 20s or a year in your 20s , a year in your 30s, 2 years in your 40s, whatever. However, 5-8 years is the lifetime maximum. If you are sick, there is disability and workman’s compensation. However, there is no reason why a person is on welfare all their life...for generations.
-No more than 3 people should be supported. You can have 7 kids by 3 different men if you want to. The Government will only pay for 3 people. So that’s the parent and 2 children. That should cut the foster care rolls down tremendously.
-If the Gubbment insists on paying for abortions, it should insist on paying for sterilization if that is a woman’s choice. If the Government, cuts down the number of children it will support, I strongly believe women will be opting for sterilization.
If these people who insist on living off the Government and having low morals do not change, they will die off (instead of multiply at our expense like what's happening now). Sounds harsh but there’s a reason God always let certain segments die before taking the people to a higher level. Their thinking had and would continue to thwart the progress of the whole group. They could not handle the RESPONSIBILITY of more. And so they had to go.
You can’t blame The Man for all your problems when The Man is making sure your kids eat.
Your campaign will require action. We are a people who love to talk but have a hard time following it with action. We acknowledge the problem and withdrawal as a way to almost protect ourselves; pacify ourrselves by thinking that it really isn't that bad. We adjust to the dysfunction instead of destroy it. This may be something we developed from slavery. It may not be. Well, regardless of where it originated, that way of thinking has gotten us here. Be transformed by the renewing of your MIND. Time out for that hypocrisy/laziness/bullshit (circle the one that applies).
Let me ask you something…is it worth it? Yes? Get to work.
Friends help. Enemies Enable.
For online petitions, go here and here.
Many Blacks are considering other parties and the Dems cannot afford that. Maybe that's why they are quick to paint Republicans as racist and have made anti-socialism and racism synonyms.
Here's a great article to get you going and reconsidering who you support in 2012.
